Pure Lab’s diagnostics network is at the forefront of conducting public screening programmes and population health management and has commendably spearheaded the COVID-19 screening efforts in the UAE by implementing state-of-the-art automated technology. Pure Lab utilizes state-of-the-art facilities and fully automated systems for both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 operations. This helps achieve higher efficiency, consistency and faster turnaround times. Within the diverse specialties of laboratory services, Pure Lab also manages the Federal New-born Screening Program. The new-born screening program has been implemented by the Ministry of Health and Prevention to screen new-born babies for certain harmful or potentially fatal disorders that are not apparent at birth. The main objective of the new-born screening program is to detect these disorders at an early stage to manage these conditions, improve healthcare outcomes and quality of life for these babies.
